Jayton Lening
American singer / songwriter
Jayton Lening is an American singer songwriter that started is music journey by strumming his guitar in backyards with friends in high school. At that time, he had no intention of pursuing a career in music; it was simply a way for him to learn songs from some of his favorite artists and play them alongside friends. Little did he know that life had an incredible path in store that would take years to unveil itself. After high school Jayton started his career in Fire and EMS but continued to write songs on his own time and occasionally still perform alongside friends at backyard parties but one day while eating at a local seaside restaurant Jayton saw someone performing with just a simple speaker setup and an acoustic guitar and he thought to himself, why am I not doing this. Shortly after Jayton started booking local bar and restaurant gigs just playing as a solo act. This would quickly change by adding other instrumentalist and creating the beginnings of his first band called Th3rd Coast Roots. This was the turning point in Jayton’s music career one which would take him across the nation performing alongside acts like Dirty Heads, The Movement, and Tribal Seeds just to name a few. Jayton in collaboration with Th3rd Coast Roots would get to work and write songs with G. Love & Special Sauce , The Elovaters, Cydeways, Nick Sefakis of Iya Terra, and Kings and Comrades. Jayton would continue to expand his writing style and learned production techniques so he could record rough recordings in his humble makeshift home studio. Eventual this would lead to releasing music under his own name, taking on the entirety of the music creation process.
